Santiago is the capital city of Chile and is located in
the central zone of the country at approximately 500 meters
above sea level. It has a population of around 5 million
people. The climate
is clearly Mediterranean. Because Santiago is the capital
of Chile, it is the center of administrative activities
and the most important financial center in the country.
It's impressive geographical position surrounded by the
Andes Mountain Range, as well as it's proximity to important
ski centers and the beautiful Pacific Ocean coast, make
Santiago an attractive destination.
